Peter Rowan Part 1

The thing about doing these live interviews is you only have one shot and you have to make the best of whatever situation you are able to meet your desired interviewee in.  In this case, I thought we’d be meeting in the peace and quiet of Peter Rowan’s hotel room but we ended up in the busy, noisy hotel lobby.  As it turned out, in spite of the background noise, everything worked out great!  Part 1 of this interview is actually the last 25 minutes of an almost 2-hour conversation where I was just sitting and listening to stories from several people including Peter Rowan.  They got into stories from the early days on the road, the story behind the actual Free Mexican Airforce and much more.  In this part, you’ll get to know the roots of Peter Rowan and the intricacies of his music from black Tucans, Jamaican Rastas, and everything in between.
